We analyze platforms you want to port to and their requirements for games in terms of performance, SDKs, controls, and other technical limitations.
We examine your game’s source code to figure out the best porting approach. Within that stage, we:
We start porting. That stage is often conducted in cycles, depending on project complexity, so we could prototype separate game elements and integrate controls step-by-step, do vertical slices, release demos, etc. to make sure everything works correctly.
We submit the game to the target platform for the platform holders internal review
We have been working with iLogos for a long time including development and live ops of our Top Grossing games such as Shadow Fight 1-3 which have had 100+ million downloads. But our experience has not been just work, it has been a strategic partnership. Why? The company works based on a set of values, including flexibility, commitment, professionalism and customer orientation. No less valuable are the personal characteristics of the staff and management team. It was a great pleasure to work with them! and we will continue to do so.
We started working with iLogos in the production of new educational games for our pre-k audience, and they rapidly became a strategic partner for Papumba. What we found is a very committed and motivated team that is always adding value to every stage of the project. it is remarkable the great team of animators, game designers, project managers and developers they have. No doubt we will continue working together in more awesome games.
We work with all major platforms: web, mobile, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox X/S. We’re ready to port to new platforms, too — consoles or custom hardware — if you’d wish to try them.
It depends on your game and the target platforms you’ve chosen. If your game is still in development, we port while your developers are working — without disrupting anything; we have a special pipeline for that.
If your game is completed and its features are locked, we plan porting based on your release date and the technical aspects we need to go through while porting. To figure out the scope of the latter, we quickly investigate things like memory usage, FPS, etc. within your project and run some tests. Then, we port a short part of your game to a targeted platform, measure how much time we spent on it, and extrapolate timing on the whole game to work out the best workflow.
Yes, we’ll need access to your game design document (GDD), technical design document, source code, and existing game assets to provide you with an accurate estimate of how long the porting will take. If the game is old or was built using legacy technology, we’ll only need access to GDD — because the porting would be more of a game recreation from scratch.
Sometimes it takes several weeks, sometimes several months. We’ll be happy to study your game and provide you with a high-level estimate.
Yes, our Game Designers are either involved directly in the project or consulting the porting team. Each platform has specific requirements related to gameplay controls and user experience — and Game Designers are there to make sure your game mechanics fit into the target platform seamlessly.
Yes, we do have devkits for all main platforms. Ask about the one you want to know about in your request.

Porting involves adapting a completed game from platform to platform. The main goal of this process is to allow it to run natively and smoothly on its new home. While it may sound straightforward, this requires a deep understanding of the intricacies of each platform – from the hardware to the software. Whether it’s taking advantage of a console’s motion controls, or optimizing touch-screen controls for mobile devices, porting is a delicate dance between creativity and technical skill.
